Beethoven at Home's Trumpet Teachers Provide Trumpet Lessons in Little Italy ONTARIO Canada
Overview and History of the Trumpet
The trumpet is a musical instrument with the highest register in the brass family. Trumpets are among the oldest musical instruments dating back to at least 1500 BC. They are constructed of brass tubing bent twice into an oblong shape, and are played by blowing air through closed lips, producing a "buzzing" sound which starts a standing wave vibration in the air column inside the trumpet. There are several types of trumpet; the most common is a transposing instrument pitched in B flat. The predecessors to trumpets did not have valves; however, modern trumpets have either three piston valves or three rotary valves, each of which increases the length of tubing when engaged, thereby lowering the pitch. The trumpet is used in many forms of music, including classical music and jazz. Click Here to Learn Even More About The Trumpet

When to Begin Trumpet Lessons
Trumpet lessons can begin very early and are an excellent foundation for the study of other instruments in future. Some students have begun their studies as early as the age of 8. Whether or not this is possible is dependant on the child’s capacity to pay attention at this very early age and all children are different (ages 9-12 are more typical). No matter the age, whether young or old, the trumpet is a great instrument to begin or continue one’s music education. Beethoven at Home will help you choose the right personality of trumpet teacher for yourself or your child. Our local consultant will contact you and discuss your child’s personality and try to come up with a match that suits your requirements. Click Here to Get Your Trumpet Lessons Started Right Now
Procuring an Instrument for Your Trumpet Lessons
Most students will begin by renting a trumpet. If a student in a band program is just beginning renting makes a lot of sense as children often switch instruments in the first few years. Your Beethoven at Home consultant can set you up with a reasonable rate to purchase or rent an instrument. If you prefer to procure your own instrument be sure to make sure it is a reputable brand.

“Our son continues to learn to play drums with the teacher you introduced us to. I wanted you to know that he has a new set of friends from the band at school and has improved all his marks at school. We think it’s the music lessons. Thanks.”Register Now!
