Teaching Philosophy

As a teacher, musician, and person, I am passionate about sharing the joy and transformative power of music with others. For me, drumming is not just a skill, but a way of life. It is a means of expression, communication, and connection that transcends language and cultural barriers. My approach to teaching is rooted in the belief that every person has the ability to learn and grow as a musician. I strive to create a supportive and collaborative learning environment, where students feel empowered to explore their creativity and take risks. I understand that every student is unique, with their own strengths, challenges, and goals, and I tailor my teaching style and curriculum to meet their individual needs. In addition to my formal training at Humber College and with Trinity College London, I have had the privilege of studying privately with some of the most respected drummers in the world. These experiences have not only helped me to develop my own skills as a musician, but have also influenced my approach to teaching. I believe that a great teacher must also be a great student, always open to learning and growing. So, whether you are a beginner or an experienced musician, I am committed to helping you achieve your musical goals and discover the joy of drumming. With a focus on developing your physical technique, musicality, and most importantly, having fun, my lessons are designed to challenge and inspire you to reach your full potential.
