My teaching philosophy is to make each session as interactive as possible. I believe that an interactive approach is more memorable and can be more fun. With that I will find new and unique ways tailored to each student to make the atmosphere more uplifting and exciting. I will also adapt to how the student prefers to be taught. I pride myself to be very adaptive and flexible when it comes to others needs while also providing an education that is new and exciting. Music has always come across as a universal language to me, it's a beautiful mosaic that is so much deeper than surface level, I cannot wait to share the true beauty of it all with my students.
I finished up my Bachelor of Music Degree with an Education minor at MacEwan University June 2024. With my primary instrument being voice. Throughout my life I studied a series of instruments from piano at the age of 6 by my grandmother, self teaching myself guitar at the age of 12, and finally improving my vocal abilities at the age of 20 by MacEwan Alumni, professors and sessional teachers at MacEwan for the next 4 years.
I spent my childhood learning to play piano from my grandmother whom has her doctorate in music. Growing up it has become a great goal of mine to become at least half of the musician and teacher she is. I spent my school years participating in choir, musical theater, and was very involved in local talent shows where I would perform with my guitar. After Highschool I knew that if I didn't pursue my love for music that I may never get the opportunity. I started to take Voice lessons from a MacEwan alumni student for just over a year. My training really then developed over my 4 years at MacEwan with incredible teachers. Without the influence of all of these people I truly wouldn't be the person I am today, or have the confidence in my teaching abilities.

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
