Music makes our lives so much happier and fuller. It is an extremely rewarding and satisfying art form, where one can express himself/herself. As a teacher, my goal is to provide tools to my students that are required in order to achieve their personal musical goals. I tailor lessons according to each student’s needs and objectives. Learning in an engaging and yet an informative way is key to my teaching.
I am currently pursuing my second Master’s degree in Voice at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz, in Austria. I hold a Master’s degree in Opera from the University of Toronto and a Bachelor’s degree with Distinction in Voice Performance from the University of Alberta. I have studied singing for 10 years and piano for 5 years. I have sung and played music of various genres: everything from pop, folk, metal, musical to opera. I’ve also been parts of various bands, ensembles, orchestras and choirs.
Over the years I am humbled to have received the Music Individual Grant by Alberta Foundation for the Arts, the Johann Strauss Foundation Award, the Winspear Fund Scholarship for Advanced Classical Music, the Richard Eaton Scholarship in Music, the Vienna Opera Ball Society Scholarship and more.
I have a lot of professional solo and ensemble stage experience. I have performed music of various genres at various companies such as Oper Graz, Edmonton Opera, Jubilee Auditorium, Winspear Centre, Four Seasons Center, Musikverein Graz, The Starlite Room and more. I have sung the role of the Countess from Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro, Anna Maurrant from Weill’s Street Scene, Diana Devereaux from Gershwin’s Of Thee I Sing, Hanna Glawari from Lehar’s The Merry Widow, 3 Norn from Wagner’s Götterdämmerung, Siegrune from Wagner’s Die Walküre, Sandrina from Mozart’s La Fina Giardiniera and more.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
