Director and creator of the Ibague blues festival. My teachers had classical, traditional and modern training, offering me the ability to know and interpret a wide variety of musical styles, languages and a wide world of sound and interpretive variety. This has allowed me to participate in different classical, modern and traditional music festivals. Experience as an educator in different universities and musical institutions such as the University of Ibagué, the Conservatory of Tolima, the Mayor's Office of Ortega Tolima, Corporación Ima, Plectro musical academy.
I grew up in an environment and in a musical city surrounded by the magic of traditional folk music and modern airs. My grandparents listened to traditional music with love and my parents to the strength and freedom of modern music. This environment made me interested in all musical styles, creating great interest in how these styles are part of society, culture, part of the ideological banners of young people and expression of peoples. This vision gave me the great curiosity to investigate, interpret and understand in depth the magic that music offers us, the genres and the instruments that we like so much, in this case the guitar. These facts were also a fundamental part of my interest in traditional instruments and acquiring skills such as their interpretation, giving me wonderful opportunities to meet, share and learn from a large number of festivals, musicians, teachers and life.
