I believe that anyone can play violin or any instrument, music is a right to every person in this beautiful world. It doesn’t matter if you are playing just for fun or you are pursuing a career in music I will guide you towards your goal. I also believe that a teaching approach should be tailor made to each individual and always done with a courteous, respectful way. I’m more than glad to work with anyone that is interested in learning the instrument, any age, any moment is a good time to start learning.
I have graduated with the highest score of my generation from the following institutions in Mexico: -Centro Mexicano de Posgrado en Musica (Mexican Centre for Music Postgraduate studies): Masters in Music, Violin Performance and interpretation (2019) -Universidad Veracruzana (University of Veracruz): Bachelor in Music with a concentration in violin (2014) I’m currently attending Brandon University in Canada to pursue a second M.Mus in Literature and performance. (2023-2025) I started my musical studies at the age of 3 years old and formal musical education with violin in the University of Veracruz Children Program (CIMI) at the age of 8.
I have worked with children from ages 6 to 12 as well as teenagers during my stay at the Boca del Río philharmonic children’s program “orquestando armonía” and during my time as Violin Teacher with the University of Veracruz children’s program (CIMI). I’m used to individual assessment as well as working with groups of children. I have been a professional violinist for 9 years, working with 2 professional orchestras, I can coach you to pursue Auditions to either summer program orchestras and professional orchestras. I also give lessons to 50+ years old beginners, there is no age limit for learning the violin.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
