My first teaching job was during my student years at Tchaikovsky Music Academy. While actively involved in performing, I also worked as a part-time violin teacher at a government music school in Kyiv. Teaching young violin beginners, particularly students aged 5 to 7, was a formative experience for me. After graduation, I received an offer to join a music institute in Abu Dhabi, and I decided to travel to the United Arab Emirates. Working with students of varying ages, from different countries and cultural backgrounds, I found myself constantly exploring and learning from them. In my own perspective, being a musician means leading an active lifestyle rooted in creativity, inspiration, and patience. As a music educator, my professional motto encompasses the following principles: Adaptability: I believe in the importance of being flexible according to each student's personality, study goals, and level of natural musical talent. Creativity: I always strive to be creative and find ways to maintain students' interest throughout the learning process. Balancing Joy and Science: Music is both a source of joy and a field of study. It's crucial to motivate students for efficient home practice while also allowing them the freedom to integrate music into their lives in a way that suits them. Continuous Self-Improvement: I aim to grow as a musician, artist, teacher, and human being. Being an inspiration and setting an example for my students is important to me.
I began playing the violin and piano at the age of six and completed my basic music education at the specialized secondary music school in my native Ukraine - Kyiv Lysenko State Music Lyceum. After graduation, I continued my education at R. Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music in the Faculty of Orchestra String Instruments (Violin) and at P.I. Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine in the Faculty of Music History and Theory (Music Culturology). I graduated with honors BA in both.
I am building my own relationship with music and arts so my main motto as a musician and artist is based on: unlimited freedom in expressing inner creativity; essential continuity of learning process and discovering – world is changing, so does music and art. Since I was a child I loved creating, so apart from teaching and performing I am composing, improvising and recording.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
