In my approach to music education, I’m deeply committed to encouraging critical thinking as the core of artistic growth, in helping students find their own musical voice. My goal is to equip them with the tools to not just follow set standards, but to question, analyze, and create something truly their own. At the same time, I believe learning should be joyful. I strive to make each lesson fun and full of exploration, because I know the magic of music comes alive when it’s enjoyed. More than just notes and rhythms, I see music as transformative, it can touch hearts, open minds, and inspire change. Ultimately, I aim to guide musicians who not only develop strong skills but also embrace the joy of creating music, believing that this balance helps them become more expressive and compassionate individuals.
During my time working toward a Professional Certification in Jazz Guitar at Berklee, I had the incredible opportunity to learn from some of the most talented guitarists in the world. Their guidance pushed my skills to a new level and gave me a deeper understanding of music. Alongside that, I completed a program in Digital Music Production at Langara College, where I explored how technology influences music in films, video games, and TV shows, and got to experiment with songwriting and composing for those mediums. At Berklee, courses like Music Production Analysis and Critical Listening really reinforced my passion for blending digital innovation with the heart of traditional music. This blend of mentorship, learning, and practical experience has been essential in shaping my musical journey.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
