The development of a musical self is something complex and unique to each person. I experimented a lot in that field by crafting different exercises for myself all along my progression. I want to help my students discover their ambitions and how to pursue them. I followed both a classical and a jazz formation and I realized the importance of learning the different styles that follow our musical taste. For example , classical music, as a acquired taste, is sometimes not suitable for some young musicians. Learning music is a long journey and we must build a strong ear to accompany our technical progress. That's why music listening and ear training are also important elements of my teaching.
I studied piano privately from from the age of five until the age of sixteen, I completed the 11 degrees of the preparatory school of Université Laval during that period. Then, I got accept to Cégep St-Laurent in Classical Piano Performance where I studied one year with Guy-Francois Morel. My education path changed there and i finally earned a double major in Jazz Composition/Jazz Trombone Performance. This program helped me develop my craft in Classical and Jazz Trombone, Jazz Piano, Arranging, Improvisation and Composition. I'm currently studying at McGill University in the Jazz Performance program with Dave Grott. I have also sang in choirs all of my musical life.

Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
