Discipline is Key, but motivation is The Door. I believe that there are five essential elements that are conducive to learning. (1) The teacher's role is to act as a guide. (2) Students must have access to hands-on activities. (3) Students should be able to have choices and let their curiosity direct their learning. (4) Students need the opportunity to practice skills in a safe environment. (5) Technology must be incorporated into the school day. I aim to bring an open mind, a positive attitude, and high expectations to the classroom each day. I believe that I owe it to students, as well as the community, to bring consistency, diligence, and warmth to my job in the hope that I can ultimately inspire and encourage such traits in the children as well.
I have attended the following music schools and universities: - Berklee College Of Music Latin - Piano Performance - National University Of Colombia / Program For Initiation in Music Arts - Fernando Sor Audio & Music School / Singer-Songwriting Composition Studies Furthermore I have attended piano masterclasses with Svieta Solodovnikova from Russia and a live masterclass with the renown pianist Lang Lang from China. Although my piano professors were strict in teaching me classical music, it is almost automatically I developed the ability to apply the perfect classical technique to any other music genre such as pop, funk, jazz etc. I was also part of the choir in the National university Of Colombia.
Honours in Songwriting Studies with an average career score of 4.5 / 5.0
Although formal education has been a deciding and crucial factor in any professional career, I would say that internet has become such a great tool to be able to achieve one's personal goals or objectives. For this reason, I proudly admit that my ear training, my voice, jazz and composition skills have been deeply rooted and enhanced in self-curiosity and online courses. Thanks to the current access to global information, I also have been able to record, produce, mix, and master music projects with excellent results and quality.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
