As a voice teacher, my teaching philosophy centers around empowering students to explore and develop their unique vocal abilities while fostering a deep understanding and appreciation for the art of singing. I believe that every individual possesses a distinct voice that deserves to be nurtured and celebrated. My approach combines technical mastery, artistic expression and a supportive learning environment to guide students on their vocal journey.
I have a BM in Classical Vocal Performance from Manhattan School of Music. Currently attending NYU to obtain an MM in Musical Theatre Vocal Performance. I began my musical journey at the age of 11 where I starred as Charlie in Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory and the rest is history! My love for the art continued to grow at Mayfield Secondary School where I was apart of the Vocal Arts program and was able to develop my craft everyday in a classroom environment and could participate in many musicals through extra curricular programs. Throughout my vocal journey I've had many teachers ranging from Jazz to Classical to Musical Theatre and feel comfortable teaching a range of styles.
Throughout my college experience I have had a lot of acting training. Having done courses in school as well as other classes outside of school, I am well versed in the methods of Sanford Meisner, Stella Adler and Uta Hagen. As singers we are required to tell a story that allows the audience to enjoy a catharsis in one way or another. Whether that be laughing or crying, our job is to take them out of reality and into our own world. I have personally found that through straight acting, I have been able to grow immensely as a storyteller. Taking the worries of what our voice sounds like or if we're singing the right notes are all stripped away and we just have to say the words and express pure honesty in our work.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
