I am a firm believer that to grow as musicians we must music that we love. Thus, I have taught everything from Billie Eilish to Hamilton, and even Mozart! I am a confident teacher of healthy mixing and belting techniques, as well as legit musical theatre and classical singing. I am extremely experienced in helping teens navigate the trials of vocal changes to find ease and sustainability in any vocal style. Healthy singing is healthy singing. My goal as a teacher is to teach students how to be aware of their instruments and to build their own vocal toolboxes. I always endeavor to create an anxiety and learning challenges-aware space, where it is okay to take our time, to be wrong, and to laugh! My lessons always include full-body and vocal warm-ups--as well as warm-downs-- in an effort to show students that singing is a full-body experience, meant to be handled with the care of any physical sport--longevity and consistency is our goal.
I received my Bachelor's in Voice Performance from The University of Maine and am a current Master of Music in Voice and Opera student at McGill's Schulich School of Music. I am a classically trained soprano, with a love for musical theatre and multiple main stage regional credits in the US. In Maine, I studied operatically with Isaac Bray, and musical theatre/ healthy belting with Tina Burns.
This past spring, I was the winner of the Maine State Classical NATS voice competition. I was also awarded, in 2021 and 2023, the Ellen Chickering Award for excellence in singing.
On top of my vocal expertise, I am also a seasoned audition and acting coach. I love being able to help my students prepare for nerve-racking auditions. I have over 5 years of teaching experience under my belt and love developing working relationships with students of elementary school age and well into adulthood!

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
