Teaching Philosophy
Music is really important to express ourselves through songs that we enjoy, or why not? compose a new one. At the same time that we are playing music, we reduce stress and anxiety, while improving parts of our body and different skills like memory, motor skills, language, movement and others, without noticing. Through music we have better cultural experiences, also, we open the possibilities to explore our creativity and sensitivity. Having fun and enjoying music lessons is fundamental to having a successful journey through music. I invite you to join the wonderful world of music and enjoy the process effortlessly and joyfully.
Musical Education
I have attended the following schools earning the following degrees: - National Pedagogical University of Colombia - Bachelor of arts in music - AEC Digital Marketing - TAV College. I have experience in early childhood education, musical initiation in children and adults. Furthermore, I have taught electric bass, Andean bandola, guitar, piano, drums, music theory, arrangements, composition, among others. The emphasis of my thesis consisted of musical composition. The emphasis of my career was conducting orchestra. My experience with music also include work as : • Session musician for bands, reading sheet music and playing recitals. • Live musician for artists. Other skills that I have learned are music production and audiovisual edition software, to bring online lessons with high quality to my students.

Special Skills and Trainings
I have been playing in concerts and teaching music for more than 7 years. Those experiences makes me thing about the correct methodology of study for each student that has an unique interest. I have taken lessons with national and international teachers, learning a lot of methods that go to the same point, that is play music. I spent time with orchestras and large ensambles, was an experience that enriched my self as a music teacher and session musician. I have taught all ages since early childhood music education, to conservatory and bachelor students.

Associate Teacher Lesson Rates:
Jeison Manuel is a Beethoven at Home Associate Teacher
- 30 minutes: $39
- 45 minutes: $49
- 60 minutes: $59
Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
