Teaching Philosophy

I have been a dedicated drummer since 2005 and have played a prominent role in the music scene since 2010. Throughout my musical journey, I've had the privilege to collaborate with artists across a wide spectrum of genres, from metal to reggae, jazz to pop, and everything in between. My deep understanding of these diverse genres has given me a clear perspective on how to effectively instruct them. To further enhance my musical knowledge and skills, I pursued advanced studies at VCC for two years. This educational journey immersed me in the realms of composition, performance, and education, allowing me to expand my expertise. Since 2018, I have been sharing my wealth of experience as a professional drum instructor. My mission as an instructor is to foster strong connections between my students and their instruments while igniting their passion for self-expression through music. Recently, I've relocated to the vibrant city of Montreal, bringing with me a rich musical background acquired during my time in Vancouver.
