The most important thing for me as a teacher is to help each student reach their goals, whatever they may be. I never take on many students at once to ensure that all my students get the individual attention and care they need. Anybody can improve their violin playing, regardless of their current level or age, through earnest practice and ambition. My job as a teacher is to give each student the knowledge they need to be their own teacher and think for themselves. Health is a crucial part of my teaching style. Unfortunately, I have seen cases where teachers disregard health, which has had horrible consequences for students. Taking breaks and doing simple exercises are crucial. Addressing tensions and working towards being relaxed isn't only healthier but helps us produce a much better sound. I am Looking forward to working with you.
I have studied the violin from the age of 6 to 20. I began with the Suzuki method, working through the books until I was 12. As a young violinist, I often performed in recitals and concerts, learning to communicate music with an audience. During these six years, I had lessons with several teachers and played in different groups with other young musicians. I began studying under a member of the Gothenburg Opera at 13 and continued my studies for three years. At 16, I got accepted to one of Sweden's top music schools for young musicians. I studied under one of Denmark's leading violin teachers during my time at the three-year program. I have performed with the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra.
