Music is the language of my soul, the very essence of the fabric of my innermost being. I wakes me up every day, carries and motivates throughout the day, and sends me to sweet rest at night. Not only does it give me utmost joy, it also revives every cell in making more alert and attentive to my tasks and environment. I believe everyone responds to music, whether sung, played, expressed, or acted, just that response might vary with respect to other constants. It relieves the innermost stress and awakens the dead spirit. With its simplicity, learning at any age is possible. This is the reason everyone should tune themselves to its pitch, understand its tones and dance to its rhythm. Life is meaningless without music, unarguably.
I began to study Music from from age 11, at the same time I started to learn to play the piano. At age 13, I had distinction in Music in my Junior Certificate Examination. I have continued to play the piano and to master the art. I got Distinction in Grade 5 Music Theory of The Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, United Kingdom, and passed the Grade 8 Music Theory of the same Board. As I continued, I learnt to play the organ after undergoing serious, detail-oriented and rigorous training in the art. I excelled in the arts with high standards. I have trained students in Music, individually and collectively; and also choirs of all age ranges. I have organized and directed music concerts, both choral and orchestral. I have also been an Accompanist in different concerts, performances and media shows.
I have won awards as the best Accompanist, best music teacher and meritorious service awards at different stages of my life as a musician. I am proud to be linked to music, and I believe everyone around me should be as proud.
I spend quality time engaged in music, watching live musical shows and listening to great musicians produce a perfect blend of quality sounds and rhythm. Nothing is more heavenly as that! This sparks off a visible bright light in me that enables me to play such music on the piano or organ, blend such sounds as I direct choirs and orchestra, and as I compose. I have performed as a pianist, organist, composer and director of music. I feel obliged always to impact such knowledge to others.
CHUKWUDINMA is a Beethoven at Home Associate Teacher
Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
