Teaching music is my passion. It embraces diverse disciplines, nurtures creativity, and touches lives. Witnessing students' artistry flourish fills my heart with joy and purpose. Sharing music's wonders is a privilege.
Musical Education
Over the course of more than two decades, I dedicated myself to studying piano with private teachers. My journey began with a focus on classical music and music theory through the Royal Conservatory program. However, my passion for exploring diverse genres led me to expand my horizons. In addition to my piano pursuits, I spent ten years studying French Horn, further enriching my musical skills and knowledge. Recently, I achieved certification with Music for Young Children, demonstrating my commitment to nurturing young musical minds. Furthermore, I completed the Royal Conservatory's online pedagogy course, earning my certification as a Royal Conservatory Certified Teacher. These achievements reflect my dedication to providing exceptional music education and guiding students on their own musical journeys.
Special Skills and Trainings
My first piano teacher was an incredible woman, 86 years old, and wise beyond measure. She became like a grandmother to me, instilling a sense of excellence in all her students without intimidation. As a teacher now, I strive to follow in her footsteps, with ten years of experience teaching Music for Young Children and five years in the Montessori classroom. Teaching private lessons is particularly rewarding for me as it allows me to develop deep connections with my students and their families. I take pride in creating comfortable and supportive music relationships, and it brings me great joy to guide young students as they embark on their musical journey. Equally fulfilling is working with intermediate students, some of whom I've had the pleasure of teaching since preschool. I even have a wonderful 73-year-old student who is thriving in her second year of piano lessons! My musical background is eclectic. I'm a singer, actively participating in community choirs, and also a French Horn player in community bands. I genuinely enjoy teaching and studying various music genres, and I keep an open mind when it comes to new musical discoveries. This versatility comes in handy when my intermediate students request to learn their current favorite pop pieces. While not every song may naturally fit the piano, I do my best to make it work for them. After all, music is all about expressing oneself and letting others know who you are through your playing.

Associate Teacher Lesson Rates:
Audrey is a Beethoven at Home Associate Teacher
- 30 minutes: $39
- 45 minutes: $49
- 60 minutes: $59
Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
