Greetings, Aleks from Ukraine! It's wonderful to connect with you. If you're looking to learn music and join a band, you've come to the right place. I am an active musician involved in multiple bands here in Canada. I offer lessons in both Ukrainian and English, according to the student's preference. My teaching approach covers the fundamentals of music while also preparing you to participate in a musical group. I'll teach you how to jam and improvise, essential skills for playing in a band. Additionally, I have experience in music recording and actively involve my students in the process of recording and creating music. I believe in approaching music education from multiple angles. My teaching method focuses on rhythm development and fostering communication between musicians on stage. With my guidance, you'll experience a deeper understanding of music beyond mere notes on paper. Music is an emotional expression reflected through sounds. You'll have the opportunity to explore various instruments such as the guitar (classical, acoustic, and electric), bass guitar, vocals, piano, and even delve into sound engineering. I offer a comprehensive course in recording music editing and video editing as well. I consider all my students as friends, and our friendship often spans many years. I look forward to meeting you and embarking on a musical journey together. Let's create beautiful music and have a great time playing together.

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
