Beethoven at Home's Trombone Teachers Provide Trombone Lessons in Vancouver South Cambie BC Canada
Overview and History of the Trombone
This most noble of instruments produces the most exciting sounds of any instrument. Whether crooning a Dorsey like ballad or making the most powerful sounds in the works of the greatest masters of the 19th century it is a special instrument with unique qualities. The trombone is unique in that it uses a slide in order to reach different tones, instead of keys or valves. The exception to this are a few wonderful exceptions who have become fabulous valve trombone players. The valve instrument is mainly played in jazz but a student incapable of using the arm for the slide trombone could consider the valve instrument. This fact enables the famous trombone "glissando" sound. Trombones play in concert and big bands as well as the modern orchestra. Click Here to Learn Even More About The Trombone

When to Begin Trombone Lessons
Trombone lessons can begin very early and are an excellent foundation for the study of other instruments in future. Some students have begun their studies as early as the age of 8. Whether or not this is possible is dependant on the child’s capacity to pay attention at this very early age and all children are different (ages 10-12 are more typical). No matter the age, whether young or old, the trombone is a great instrument to begin or continue one’s music education. Beethoven at Home will help you choose the right personality of trombone teacher for yourself or your child. Our local consultant will contact you and discuss your child’s personality and try to come up with a match that suits your requirements. Click Here to Get Your Trombone Lessons Started Right Now
Procuring an Instrument for Your Trombone Lessons
Trombones are typically rented at the outset of studies. Typically a student instrument is rented and then in time an intermediate or professional quality trombone is acquired. Your local consultant will be able to help you acquire a rental instrument or a trombone to purchase.
