As someone deeply influenced by rhythm and melody, I find myself captivated by any sound I hear while walking down the street, often picking up the entire melody. For me, music is a way to make people feel comfortable and relaxed. In my teaching, I emphasize that it's not necessary to push oneself to a high level all at once; instead, focusing on basic exercises is crucial. In my classroom, for children aged 6-12, I use games to make learning easy and stress-free. Through various tips and techniques, students can achieve the best results effortlessly. For adults, I incorporate popular music to spark their interest in learning. I believe that without these engaging methods, students might loose interest in learning rhythm and melodies.
I have an honours BA in music from Fu Jen Catholic University, which included performance classes and Orchestra class in classical music. I studied both violin and piano privately from the age of six until the age of twenty-one. Teachers I have been mentored by Academy of Taiwan Strings concertmaster-TAN ZHENG, Universität Mozarteum Salzburg- ZHAO GUO-JI, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign- LU YAO-ZU, also had joined master class of Cho-Liang Lin, and the training I underwent was rigorous and detailed. My piano teacher was trained in Anton Bruckner Privatuniversität, and was likewise detail oriented with exceptionally high standards.
I spent my childhood watching my mother teach piano in the living room. She is an impeccable teacher with over 40 years experience as a professional pianist and a dedicated educator. My training was primarily at home, and as such, functions at a deep and natural level within me. My mom hope one of the children could follow his industry, so I'm the one who follow her step.
