Victoria teaches violin, composition, theory (beginner to intermediate), and Suzuki method. Teaching Philosophy
Music has always been part of my life — not just as something I do, but as something I deeply feel. I believe that learning an instrument like the violin can be a powerful, joyful experience for anyone, no matter their age or background. Every student brings something unique, and I see it as my role to guide, encourage, and adapt to their individual journey. I focus on strong foundations: posture, bowing, ear training, and tone. But just as important to me is creating a space where students feel confident and supported. I know from experience that real progress happens when students feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and express themselves. Whether I’m teaching a young child, a beginner adult, or someone returning to music after many years, I strive to make each lesson meaningful and motivating. For me, teaching violin is not just about technique — it’s about helping people connect to something beautiful inside themselves. I want my students to leave each lesson feeling proud, inspired, and excited to keep playing.
Musical Education
I hold a Bachelor Diploma in Musical Art with a focus on violin from the Sumy Vocational College of Arts and Culture in Ukraine. My studies included solo performance, ensemble playing, pedagogy, and music theory. I began studying violin privately at a young age and continued intensive classical training throughout college. I also gained hands-on experience as a student teacher during my program. This foundation helped shape my approach to teaching, combining solid technical training with a love for musical expression.
Awards and Distinctions
I have been recognized for my commitment to music education and community involvement. I have participated in charitable concerts with Nova Musica Orchestra and other groups, helping to raise funds for those in need. I’ve also received Certificates of Achievement in public speaking, customer service, and sales, which have helped me grow as a confident and engaging teacher.
Special Skills and Trainings
I began studying violin at a young age and was fortunate to learn from passionate teachers who taught me to love both the discipline and the beauty of music. During my music college years, I not only studied violin performance and theory, but also had the opportunity to teach students as part of my training. Associate Teacher Lesson Rates:

- 30 minutes: $39
- 45 minutes: $49
- 60 minutes: $59
Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
