My teaching philosophy centers on creating a welcoming and supportive environment for students of all ages. As a very friendly and understanding instructor, I strive to tailor each lesson to the individual needs and learning styles of my students. With a strong foundation in piano knowledge and technique, I aim to inspire a love for music while fostering confidence and skill. As an educational researcher and psychologist, I strive to apply educational and psychology principles to help learners achieve their full potential. Whether working with children or adults, my goal is to make learning piano a joyful and enriching experience, encouraging progress at a comfortable and motivating pace.
I started playing piano at the age of 3, and I received a distinction in Trinity Grade 8, Solo Piano Examination in 2017 (equivalent to RCM Grade 10). While at university, and during my high school, I explored other genres of music beyond classical music, such as pop, rock bands, Indian classical music, Thai folk music, and orchestra. After broadening my perspective about music, I'm currently working towards my Trinity performance diploma - ATCL. I have competed and won at a national stage in India, co-led collaborations between German and Indian orchestra, and our rock band was fully sponsored by Yamaha to perform in one of the largest malls in New Delhi, India. For our rock band, I played the keyboard, arranged various songs (e.g., harmony, sound effects), and helped with composition.

Pearson full-ride scholarship (value: $300,000) to study at University of Toronto. Here, I was passionate to making a difference in healthcare through music.

Sapolnach is a Beethoven at Home Associate Teacher
Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
