Music has always been a huge part of my life, growing up with all kinds of genres through films and games, leading me to pursue it and be forever curious. I began studying piano very young, which really opened up my perspective to everything that goes into music has a concept, and the more I discover, the more I just want to sit down and write! However, for a long time while studying, music always felt very complex and "out of reach" to me, and while I was very passionate, I often struggled with many concepts. Regardless, it was the that sense of storytelling in musical motifs that kept things connected and interesting for me. It wasn't until I started creating my own music and sharing with others that it all clicked for me. Which is exactly what I want to spread if I were teaching music! I want learning to feel simple and free so anyone can express themselves through it! Music is such a creative and magical thing; I want to help anyone and everyone explore it.
After studying piano privately my whole life, I attended Centre for Arts and Technology (CATO) in Kelowna, BC to pursue my love for my music composition. My program was accelerated, so my college career was only 18 months, but it was intense and exciting; we learned all the depths of music theory, composition, post-production, sound physics and much more! I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the audio world during my time there, and graduated in the top 3 of my class. Early on into my program, my campus hired me as a student tutor to teach others music theory, as well as various software we were covering, such as Pro Tools, Ableton and Wwise.

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
