All of us come from different backgrounds, and that’s something to be proud of. Within each of these backgrounds lies music—every culture carries its own unique style, language, taste, and musicality. What could be more enjoyable than sharing and blending these with the people we love? It’s like speaking one language with different characters—bringing us closer together and helping create a better world. I also encourage anyone who wants to learn music to listen closely to the sounds of everyday life: birds, waterfalls, even elevators. Pay attention not only to pleasant sounds but also to dissonant ones—snoring, coughing, or bike brakes. These natural and human-made sounds can deepen your understanding of melody with understanding natural sources and your own feelings.
I am currently a Bachelor of Music student at Carleton University, studying in both jazz and classical streams. My training allows me to approach music from multiple perspectives with technical, creativity and stylistic flexibility. I primarily teach piano and guitar, and also provide accompaniment on both instruments, supporting students in their performances and practices. In addition, I play trumpet and bass guitar. Alongside my academic studies, I have had both formal and informal teaching experience, working with students in my own studio as well as in their homes. I’m passionate about teaching, finding friends and learn from my students as well. As an active performer, I have been involved in theatre vocals, jazz and blues ensembles, choir, and orchestras. These experiences shape my teaching by bringing real-world musicianship into lessons, helping students develop technique, creativity, confidence, and a deeper overall understanding of music.
I spent my life with music and dances since I was a child. I was always interested in creating music and composing for myself and when I came to Canada I fell in love with the music around the world so I mixed them together. I AIM to create a supportive and ENGAGING learning environment where STUDENTS can explore any musical path they are interested IN. Being part of a STRONG musical community also allows me to offer students valuable opportunities for NETWORKING AND PERFORMANCES across different fields, helping them grow both artistically and professionally. I can create opportunities to PERFORM and have MUSICIAN FRIENDS if you aren’t studying music. Also, I will contact about your goal so I can help you with what exactly you need to achieve. I’m easy going and fun with students since I love communicating with new people and I always am honoured to help in anyway as a human being. I would really love to see your improvement so practice ;) LOL. 67 jokes can be prohibited if not in right place ;) but dad jokes are always permitted.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
