My teaching philosophy is centered around using fun, effective, and meaningful methods to teach music. I aim to show that learning music is not a difficult task by making the lessons enjoyable and easy for students of all ages to understand. I adapt my lessons to the learning speed and abilities of each student, ensuring that the process of learning is engaging and motivating. I am able to use a wide range of method books, selecting those that best match the student's interests, learning speed, and goals. By adapting the materials to suit each individual, I ensure that the lessons remain engaging and effective, helping the student progress at their own pace while focusing on their specific musical objectives.
I hold a Master’s degree in Music and a Bachelor’s degree in Music Teacher /Piano/ and Piano Accompanist from the Mongolian State University of Arts and Culture. Additionally, I have graduated as a Jazz Musician from the Goethe Institute in Mongolia. My musical journey began at an early age, where I studied both classical and jazz music, and received formal training under highly skilled instructors. I studied jazz under the guidance of German teachers and well-known musicians, receiving in-depth training in Jazz Harmony, Improvisation, and Jazz History. This comprehensive education allowed me to develop both technical proficiency and a deep understanding of jazz. Throughout my career, I have applied this knowledge to teach these subjects, as well as band coaching, to university students at the conservatory level.
From a young age, I developed an interest in guitar music and began playing, eventually forming my own band. This passion led me to pursue formal music education at a large music school, and later, I was drawn to jazz music. I started studying jazz in 2012 under the guidance of German and jazz teachers from over 20 countries, taking short-term courses that significantly shaped my musical development. Over time, I honed my skills in composing my own music and experimenting with various musical techniques that I first learned during these courses. I have also worked as a studio session musician, able to play across many different genres. In my home country, I spent seven years successfully running my own private music studio, where I taught a wide range of students and gained valuable experience in various music fields. My experience includes performing as a musician in big band ensembles, working as a studio session musician, and teaching at the university level for many years. I believe all of these experiences—whether in residencies, festivals, or private studies—have enriched my work as an educator. I always aim to bring a broad perspective to my teaching, combining my diverse musical background with the unique methods I’ve learned along the way
