I love playing the piano and believe music helps children grow into better individuals. My main goal as a teacher is to make piano playing enjoyable for students. When kids have fun, they're more motivated to practice and feel proud of their progress. In today's fast-paced, tech-driven world, learning piano teaches patience and discipline. It shows kids the value of working hard for something and enjoying the results later. By balancing fun with dedication, I aim to help students become skilled pianists and well-rounded individuals.
I have attended the following schools earning the following degrees: -Chinese University of Hong Kong - Bachelor of Arts, Music, Major in Piano, Pedagogy stream. I studied piano from the age of 5, I finished my ATCL at the age of 16 and started teaching piano.
-Trinity College London - ATCL piano recital with distinction -ABRSM - Grade 8 piano with merit -ABRSM - Grade 8 theory I began teaching piano and music theory in one-on-one sessions at the age of 16, which allowed me to develop personalized teaching methods tailored to individual student needs. Later, I served as the head music teacher at a primary school for a year, where I conducted regular music classes and organized extracurricular activities. During this time, I integrated STEM concepts into the music curriculum, enhancing students' learning experiences by connecting musical principles with science and technology.

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
