I aim to inspire students to see music as a lifelong journey, encouraging them to explore, experiment, and express themselves. By cultivating a positive attitude and resilience, I help students develop not only as musicians but as well-rounded individuals. My goal is to instil a passion for music that lasts a lifetime, enriching their lives in profound ways.
I have attended the following schools and earned the corresponding degrees: University of British Columbia: Master of Music Education University of Nigeria: Bachelor of Arts in Music During my master's degree at UBC, I specialized in studying the saxophone and clarinet, delving deeply into both the performance and pedagogical aspects of these instruments. My time there allowed me to refine my technique and expand my understanding of music education at an advanced level. At the University of Nigeria, I focused on the piano and violin during my bachelor’s studies. This period was instrumental in developing my foundational skills and broadening my repertoire, giving me a solid grounding in both solo and ensemble performance. Over the past eight years, I have had the privilege of guiding students in achieving their music goals. My teaching philosophy is holistic, emphasizing not only the technical mastery of musical instruments but also fostering the personal growth and development of each of my students. I believe in nurturing a positive attitude and cultivating a love for learning, which are essential for lifelong learning of music. I also take great pride in my students' achievements, many of whom have attained distinction in their RCM and Trinity exams. Their success is always a testament to my commitment to high-quality music education and my ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential.

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
