With an ARCT diploma earned in 2019 and ongoing studies toward a Bachelor of Music at the University of British Columbia, she brings both expertise and passion to her teaching. She also provides training in ear training, solfege, dictation, music appreciation, and RCM rudiments. Her patient and individualized approach ensures students receive the guidance they need to grow musically.
Music is a great way of expressing one's self, and a way to bring your thoughts and emotions to life through sound. If it weren't for music, there wouldn't be the many brilliant songs and soundtracks throughout the world, and we would be missing something important. Being given the chance to explore and enjoy music since childhood brought a way to see the world in a new light. Every student has a different learning pathway, and needs patient mentors that can understand and learn ways to bring out their best. I hope to be a teacher that can be as understanding and kind as the teachers I've had over the years, for their patience meant everything to me.
I've been studying piano from the age of five, and received my ARCT diploma in 2019. I am currently attending University of British Columbia working towards my Bachelors in Music. I'm grateful for the wonderful teachers I had the opportunity to learn from over the years.
I participated in the Kiwanis Music Festival and received the highest mark in the Senior Class Repertoire (March 2021). Awarded second place for the Mozart category, and 3rd place for both Etude and Concerto categories (April 2022). I also participated in the White Rock Surrey Music Festival and was awarded second place in Romantic Repertoire and concerto piece (November 2021).
My mother is a brilliant teacher who home schooled my brother and I for years. Watching her methods of teaching the both of us and knowing precisely how to teach and explain subjects in different styles, it makes me more determined to understand students' ways of learning so they can one day reach their goals and dreams while having fun!

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
