Elena teaches piano and a wide range of music theory subjects including harmony, counterpoint, ear training, and solfege. She holds an ARCT in Piano Performance and another in History and Theory from the Royal Conservatory of Music. Fluent in English and Spanish, she teaches online and in her Brampton studio, sharing her passion and deep conservatory training with students from age six to adult.
From the age I started taking private piano lessons, a passion ignited for music that has guided my life since. Music is more than notes and rhythms in a piece of paper; it is a universal language that powerfully transmits emotions without words. In addition to the purpose and joy it brings, music teaches valuable lessons and skills that will be useful in many other aspects of life, including perseverance, discipline, and the beauty of embracing imperfections. Music is an art, not a science; there is no correct way to successfully perform a piece as everyone interprets and expresses music differently. It is as much about the stories we tell as the notes we play, and I want students to first and foremost discover the joy in doing this.
I have an ARCT Diploma in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music, in addition to the ARCT: History and Theory Diploma. I studied the piano at the Music Professional Conservatory Arturo Soria in Madrid, Spain from the age of six until the age of ten. I expanded my piano playing and theory knowledge there. I continued my musical education receiving diplomas from the Royal Conservatory of Music from Level 8 to Level 10 with First Class Honours, and successfully completing all the Theory, History, Harmony and Analysis courses. My main piano teacher earned a Doctor of Music in Piano Performance & Music Literature as well as Master and Bachelor degrees. My musical training in both conservatories has been extensive and rigorous.
• Peel Music Festival first place award for class works of J.S. Bach ARCT Level • Winner of ORMTA Bolton-Brampton-Caledon branch competition in 3 different years • Winner of Young Artists' audition to play in the Brampton Chamber Music Concert Series
My passion for music extends beyond piano playing, as I am involved in different orchestras playing the flute, volunteer experience as an organ player, and the performance of several music genres. The variety of experiences has enriched my musical expertise and improved my performance skills in ways that cannot be learned from regular piano lessons, deepening the knowledge I can share through teaching.

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.
One-Time Family Registration: $25. This covers your entire family for life - once you're in, everyone can take lessons!
Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
