Music has shaped my life in so many meaningful ways, and I bring that passion into every lesson I teach. As a violin teacher, I believe in creating a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel safe to explore, make mistakes, and grow. I focus on building a strong technical foundation, but I also emphasize creativity, curiosity, and self-expression. Every student learns differently, so I adapt my methods to suit each person’s needs and goals. My biggest motivation as a teacher is to help students discover their own voice through music and to show them that their efforts and stories matter. Teaching is not just about notes and rhythms—it’s about connection, confidence, and joy.
My musical education has been a journey of determination, growth, and deep personal meaning. I started learning music seriously after arriving in Canada, where I finally had access to formal training and a supportive musical community. I worked hard to catch up, taking every opportunity I could to improve—from private lessons to ensemble work and summer festivals. I have taken part of performance programs at the Mount Royal University Conservatory and I’m now studying violin performance at the University of Calgary, where I’ve learned so much about technique, theory, and the importance of collaboration. Every stage of my education has shaped who I am as a musician, and I carry that sense of gratitude and purpose into everything I do.
As part of my musical journey, I was honored to receive the StingRay Rising Star Award while performing with the Thomastik-Infeld String Orchestra at MusicFest Canada. This recognition meant a great deal to me, as it affirmed the hard work and passion I put into every performance. More recently, I was awarded the Alberta Music Education Foundation Performance Award, which supports young musicians in pursuing their artistic goals. These acknowledgments have encouraged me to keep pushing forward, both as a performer and as someone deeply committed to sharing music with others.
I began my violin studies at the Mount Royal University Conservatory, where I laid the foundation for my technical and musical development. During that time, I also trained under the Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) exam system, which helped me develop strong discipline, musicality, and performance skills. My dedication to the instrument led to incredible opportunities, including full scholarships to prestigious music festivals such as the Tuckamore Festival in Newfoundland, Prague Summer Nights in the Czech Republic, PRISMA and Valhalla in British Columbia, and InterHarmony in Italy. Each of these experiences challenged me to grow as a performer and allowed me to work with inspiring musicians from around the world. These opportunities have shaped my skills, confidence, and understanding of what it means to be a well-rounded, expressive artist.

Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
