The most important thing in learning to play the piano is joy. Without positive emotions and pleasure from the game there will be no result. I do everything so that from the first minutes of training the student understands that music is, first of all, a state of mind. My teaching philosophy is not only piano lessons, but also a comprehensive musical education, including the development of an ear for music and a sense of rhythm. Learning without stress and pressure is the key to success. Developing musical skills through fun exercises and learning different musical styles and movements is an important task. Positivity and passion are the basis of learning.
I have attended the following schools earning the following degrees: -Kyiv City State Institute of Culture-Master of Music. -R.M. Glier Kyiv City State College of Music-Bachelor of Music. My main teachers were my parents and also outstanding teachers of the music institute.
I started playing the piano at the age of 5. My parents were excellent teachers. My mother taught me piano and sang in a clear voice, which greatly developed my ear for music. Going with my father to the opera house every month was mandatory. Also, working in my own recording studio greatly improved my skills as a sound engineer and arranger as well as a songwriter. And all my life I have been giving piano lessons to children and adults. Music is my life!

Home visit fee: $15 minimum fee. Teachers may negotiate a higher travel fee if the travel distance is longer than they are comfortable with. Most arrangements use the minimum fee.

Getting Started Together
We don't offer free trials, but we do something better - a relaxed 2-lesson getting-to-know-you period. You can pause anytime with just 24 hours notice. After your third lesson, we ask for a friendly 2-lesson heads up if you need to stop.
Life Happens - We Get It
Give us 24 hours notice for any cancellation or reschedule and you'll receive full credit. Planning a family vacation or summer break? Perfect - just let us know a day ahead and we'll pause your lessons.
When You're Under the Weather
If illness strikes with short notice (less than 24 hours), you'll still be charged since your teacher has reserved that time. However, most teachers are happy to offer makeup lessons when possible - they have the final say, especially if last-minute cancellations become a pattern.
Stopping Lessons
Need to take a break? We just ask for a 2-lesson notice:
Weekly lessons = 2 weeks notice
Every other week = 3 weeks notice
Twice weekly = 1 week notice
Summer breaks are different - no notice period needed when you return in the fall!
